Kay receives Salvation!
Kay, a wonder Indian-Singaporian young lady, recently finished our 12-lesson Bible Studies. Johanna did an excellent job of teaching her each week here at TJ. She was very hungry for the Word of God, and she would show up after work to be taught each week. Sometimes we would finish our Bible Study as late as 9:45 or so, but she was always willing for more! She was an excellent student, and very quick to pick up Bible principles and their application in daily life. Her family is Hindu, and we know that Kay will be a blessing to them! Join us in prayer for Jesus to bless her family.
She requested baptism on her 11th Lesson, and she received the Holy Ghost just a week later during a Sunday worship service with Sis. Barbara Willoughby praying for her! Last Sunday she mentioned that as the Lord blessed her during the altar service she felt the Spirit of the Lord fall on her like a mighty wave! To God be the Glory.
As well as English, Kay speaks fluent Tamil and another Indian dialect, and we believe that God has some important plans in store for her life. Please remember her in your prayers as she grows in the fullness of God.
